Wholefood and Food State Supplements

Wholefood supplements

Cytoplan’s Wholefood nutrients are derived from a number of natural plant sources and are well utilised because, as food nutrients, they are recognised by the body as beneficial and nourishing.

Cytoplan source their minerals from a plant called Brassica juncea; a cruciferous vegetable from the same family as broccoli. Brassica juncea, also known as Indian Mustard, is an edible plant species which has a great capacity to bio-accumulate high levels of minerals. This enables good levels to be achieved in small doses of dried product, making it ideal for supplementation. These nutrients are therefore in the same form as conventional food, just in much higher levels. Other examples of Wholefood nutrients include; vitamin C from acerola cherries and vitamin D from Lichen.
